Life at our Communities

More Than a Place to Live

At The Stonehaven Home and Valentines Assisted Living, we believe a fulfilling day is made up of the little things—sharing a meal, enjoying a favorite activity, having a conversation with a friend, celebrating a birthday, or simply relaxing in a comfortable place that feels like home.

Our communities are designed to provide residents with the support they need while encouraging independence, connection, comfort, and enjoyment in everyday life.

A Comfortable Place to Call Home

We want residents to feel at home from the moment they arrive. Each resident is encouraged to settle into a comfortable routine and bring personal belongings that make their living space feel familiar and uniquely theirs.  Our staff is available 24 hours a day to provide assistance and support while respecting each resident's privacy, preferences, and independence.

Meals & Dining

Good food is an important part of feeling at home. Residents enjoy nutritious meals and snacks in a comfortable setting, with opportunities to gather around the table, enjoy conversation, and spend time together.  We also work to accommodate individual dietary needs and preferences when appropriate.

Activities & Social Life

Staying engaged and connected is an important part of quality of life. Residents have opportunities to participate in social and recreational activities, holiday celebrations, special events, and everyday opportunities for companionship.

Whether participating in an activity, visiting with friends, enjoying a favorite pastime, or simply spending time together, residents are encouraged to participate in ways that are comfortable and meaningful to them.

Personal Support Throughout the Day

Every resident has different needs. Our team provides assistance with daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, personal hygiene, mobility, medication management, and other everyday routines.

Our goal is to provide the support residents need without taking away the independence they can safely maintain.

Medication & Healthcare Coordination

Our staff provides medication management, medication reminders and administration, along with medication reordering and pharmacy coordination.

We also communicate and coordinate with families, physicians, pharmacies, and healthcare providers to help residents receive consistent support.

Family & Friends Are Part of Our Community

Moving into assisted living doesn't mean leaving family life behind. We believe maintaining strong relationships with loved ones is an important part of residents' happiness and well-being.

Families and friends are encouraged to visit, stay involved, celebrate special occasions, and continue creating memories together.

Visiting Hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM Daily

The Comforts of Everyday Living

We take care of many of the everyday responsibilities so residents can spend more time enjoying their day. Services include housekeeping, personal laundry and linens, meals and snacks, assistance with daily routines, and 24-hour staff support.

It's all part of creating an environment that feels comfortable, cared for, and welcoming.

Two Communities. One Commitment to Care.

While The Stonehaven Home and Valentines Assisted Living each have their own setting and personality, they share the same commitment: providing residents with a safe, respectful, supportive, and welcoming place to call home.

We want every resident to feel known as an individual—not simply cared for, but valued, included, and part of a community.
